Shipping & Receiving Lead – Landisville, PA Join the team at R/W Connection Inc., a trusted industry leader for over 60 years. R/W Connection Inc., Central Pennsylvania’s top distributor of Industrial Hose, Conveyor Belt, Gasket, and Industrial Supplies, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead at our Landisville distribution center. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing daily shipping and receiving operations while leading a small warehouse team (1-2 employees). We’re looking for a self-motivated, organized professional with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all shipping and receiving functions Supervise and support warehouse staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency Maintain and improve quality control processes related to packaging, labeling, and documentation Enforce and promote safety protocols throughout the warehouse Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight, including carrier scheduling and paperwork Ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any delays or issues Communicate with internal departments to support production schedules and customer expectations
Requirements:
Prior warehouse or logistics experience (shipping/receiving management preferred) Strong leadership and organizational skills Forklift experience (certification a plus) Basic computer and math skills Valid driver’s license Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
