Yard Supervisor – New Castle, PA Faddis Concrete Manufacturing New Castle, PA The Yard Supervisor at Faddis Concrete Products will play a crucial role in overseeing all operations within the work yard, ensuring compliance with safety policies and maintaining an organized environment for the storage of products. This position requires a proactive approach to managing both indoor and outdoor manufacturing environments, where the supervisor will be responsible for training staff, evaluating performance, and ensuring that all materials are handled and stored appropriately. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Plant Manager to maintain an orderly yard and coordinate daily delivery schedules based on sales requests and product availability. In this role, the Yard Supervisor will monitor the loading of products to ensure safe transport to job sites and will be responsible for verifying that all loads are correctly prepared and that dunnage is properly placed. The supervisor will also collaborate with the production team to determine which items are ready for delivery and will operate heavy equipment as needed. The supervisor will assist in locating items within the yard as necessary. This position may also involve additional responsibilities that can be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis, depending on the needs of the organization. Responsibilities Maintain the yard in an orderly fashion Ensure all product is stored in the correct location and dunnage is properly placed Verify all loads are loaded and dunnage is properly placed Work closely with the production team to determine items ready for delivery Operate heavy equipment as needed Assist in locating items in the yard Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in a related industry preferred Ability to operate a forklift Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to work under limited supervision Good attendance and positive attitude a must Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred You should be proficient in: Leadership /
