Job Description
Distribution Supervisor 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 1600 E Cumberland St, Lebanon, PA 17042 Supervisor needed to set up and maintain the operations of the Lebanon Distribution Center Rapid Fulfillment and Amazon Fulfillment Centers in a manner to package shipments to desired specifications and ship on time. Manage all temporary employee’s daily tasks and assignments. Support all other Distribution Center operations including but not limited too. Overseeing 4-10 union employees’ daily tasks and operations. Shipping and receiving as needed. Occasional working directly with 3PL Drivers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ecommerce:
- Champion all safety guidelines and requirements.
- Process Annual Lawn Program orders, DSV orders, GreenView.com, Amazon Fulfillment Center, Lebanon turf orders.
- Perform daily inspection of all operating equipment. Reporting any need for repairs or service.
- Palletize, label, wrap, stage, and load orders for DSV, Amazon Fulfillment and Home Depot Special Order
- Verify pulling stock from correct parent materials and sourcing correct packaging materials.
- Interface with both UPS WorldShip & FedEx shipping programs
- Finalize shipping orders through Lebanon’s DSV shipping menu.
- Pre-pack large volume seasonal SKUs
- Keep ‘High Volume’ rack locations replenished.
- Operate fork truck, high-reach truck, powered pallet jack, electric stock picker.
- Organize, receive, re-order shipping materials.
- Accurately marry shipping documents to products for 100% accuracy
- Process all shipments by End of Day to maintain 100% ship on time.
- Ensure all perishable products are not expired.
- Ensure all consumable products are not infested.
- Manage and maintain all E-commerce product inventories. Performing daily inventory counts.
- Locate and process all E-commerce returns daily.
- Manage the complete process flow from start to finish, including scheduling, creating conversion work orders to meet market/sales demands, and backflushing.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks including, thoroughly sweeping/vacuuming seed, fertilizer, trash & debris.
Take all trash receptacles to the compactor daily.
Distribution:
- Manage and assign daily tasks to union workforce.
- Manage Opendock scheduling application. To check drivers in upon arrival and out upon departure.
- Process orders and print BOL’s.
- Print, sort, and organize pick tickets for future shipments.
- Champion all aspects of inventory management including investigating and correcting inventory discrepancies and variances, quarantine QC products and returns.
- Work with our production manager to print/reprint product labels.
- Manage inventory levels of stock product labels.
- Work with our maintenance manager to maintain P.
I.T. P.m.’s and service.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Skills:
- Experience in a leadership role in a union environment preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office suites
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Familiar with WMS and E1 ERP systems
- Ability to follow schedules and instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply in all units of measure.
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail are a must.

- Moderate noise level.
- Required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, sit, crawl, etc.
- Lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Qualified to wear a respirator.
