All openings will train on 1st shift and either stay on 1st or move to 2nd. Previous manufacturing, assembly, and/or warehouse experience is necessary. 3+ years in a lead role is also required. Pay is DOE $22-24/hr and these openings are slated to start ASAP. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of logistics, and the ability to manage inventory effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that our team meets production goals while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff during assigned shifts. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. Utilize AS400 systems for inventory control and reporting. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and functionality. Facilitate communication between shifts to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that arise. Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Perform heavy lifting as required to assist with shipping and receiving tasks. Experience Proven experience in a warehouse management or logistics role is preferred. Familiarity with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience with inventory control systems and practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physical labor as needed. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
