Additionally, is responsible for computer transactions related to shipping and receiving from the warehouse, including documentation to be provided to transportation companies and customers, and adherence to material handling procedures and all other Autoneum policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain 5S and housekeeping objectives Set a positive example in areas of attitude, attendance, and safety practices Ensure material handlers and other warehouse associates follow proper safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment Understand and assist in implementing and maintaining ISO14001 and TS16949 standards and procedures Cooperate with fellow employees and management Understand shipping and receiving processes and procedures Understand and use FIFO system Assist in staging shipments in truck preparation area.

SAP responsibilities:

Create pick list, deliveries and shipments Create necessary shipping documentation Create and send ASN’s as required Assist in storing raw material in assigned warehouse bins Create shipments for JIS parts using Insequence software Perform and participate in LPA’s as scheduled. Create shipments Inspect incoming goods for damage and note any damages on bills of lading Monitor material handling activities and assign work as necessary to material handlers. Ensure forklift inspection logs are maintained and forklifts inspected at proper intervals Inspect shipping and receiving goods to ensure packaging requirements are maintained Perform cycle counts as needed. Participate in physical inventories Perform other duties as required Language Ability Ability to read and interpret instructions and procedure manuals Ability to follow and direct others according to written and verbal job instructions Ability to effectively present information to management and other associates Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence Ability to effectively communicate, in written or verbal form Math Ability Basic math skills required Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables Ability to effectively prioritize workload Ability to interpret documents / instructions and draw appropriate conclusions Ability to identify problems, collect data, and make recommendations Computer Skills SAP software logistics module MS Office, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes (email) Prior experience with manufacturing/shipping/receiving software packages desirable Insequence software experience preferable.
