We are currently looking for a Warehouse Shipping Lead to fill a full time position for 1st shift with a company in Ladson, SC. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 -3 years of experience in Shipping. Must provide us with an updated resume to be considered for the Warehouse Shipping Lead.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Use shipping software and automation equipment. Stack products on pallets correctly. Prepare, match, and verify shipping information and manifest accurately. Assist with stretch wrapping, loading trucks, and all other tasks directed by Supervisor in shipping. Verify all shipments for accuracy. Schedule LTL/TL pick-ups daily. Maintain the training program with all Shipping Clerks. Monitor missing Pick Ticket report. Monitor orders not moved to history. Overtime as business requires.

Job Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse/distribution center preferred. 2-3 years of shipping experience. Forklift experience preferred. Outstanding leadership skills Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment focusing on customer satisfaction. Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints is required. Must be able to stretch wrap product on pallets properly. Ability to use Shipping Software, Automation Equipment and perform tasks per the client’s standard operating procedures and customer guidelines. Must meet and maintain performance standards set by the company. Good attitude and initiative. Takes pride in their work environment and embraces 5S principles. WORKING CONDITIONS

Environment:

Approximately 100% of the time performing job duties is spent indoors in a warehouse with limited heating or air conditioning. The temperature of the work environment, when in the office, is moderate. The temperature of the work environment in the warehouse may equal to the outside temperatures of the area. While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electric shock. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
