This role is crucial in ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and leading a team to meet operational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong logistics knowledge and demonstrate effective team management skills within a fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise the receiving department, ensuring all incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Oversee the unloading of trucks and the inspection of goods for quality and quantity. Manage inventory control, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits. Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to optimize workflow. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any discrepancies. Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to enhance performance and productivity. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse. Collaborate with e-commerce teams to streamline order fulfillment processes. Experience Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, preferably in a warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and warehouse management systems. Experience with heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment. Demonstrated ability in team management, fostering a collaborative work environment. Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus. Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role is highly desirable.
