DUTIES:

Successfully manages shipping, receiving, export, warehousing and distribution operations to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently and on time by enforcing policies and procedures Troubleshoot order and inventory discrepancies as needed Optimizes warehouse staff performance by coaching, counseling, disciplining and evaluating quality of employees’ work Requests, orients and trains new hire candidates and existing staff to meet required labor needs on a daily basis Utilizes system data to examine daily individual worker productivity Reports shipping and receiving performance on a daily basis to the Office Manager, identifying problems and providing recommendations for solutions Provides regular reporting to management Prepares orders for shipment and process orders through WMS Able to analyze data generated by WMS Safeguards operations by ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining a safety-first mentality Prepares safety and accident reporting when necessary Oversees side by side assembly and staff Maintain adequate levels of supplies and request replenishment as appropriate Maintain a clean and organized warehouse building, reporting any maintenance issues to appropriate personnel

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

Required minimum 2 years distribution or warehouse operations experience in a supervisory role Logistics industry experience preferred Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred WMS and RF technology experience
