$22.00 / HR We are looking a Team Lead for the daily operation in our departments. This key position ensures quality, delivery and accuracy of the selection of the product being shipped out by our Distribution Center. It requires a person to have effective communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and a willingness to model positive and professional work ethics. Success in this role is defined by providing a safe work environment, labor planning, productivity, process adherence, and training/development of your team. This is measured by ongoing improvements in driving safety, quality delivery, accuracy, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Implement process improvements using Lean concepts to continuously improve safety, quality, productivity, and the work environment. Conduct audits to ensure team members are following standardized operating procedures and adhering to safety standards. Maintain daily management boards; analyze issues and implement appropriate countermeasures. Train team members in all aspects of operations. Lead communication huddles with team members and complete daily reports. Ensure safety compliance of work area and MHE. Conduct reviews, track attendance, coach and hold team members accountable to standards.
Qualifications:
6 months experience in a Distribution Center Environment At least 1 year of leadership experience At least 1 year of supply chain experience High School or equivalent Experience with pallet riders and stock pickers Operate a forklift or other equipment to transport product within the operation Understanding of
AS400/JDA, RF
