JOB TITLE:

Warehouse Lead /Tri-State Warehouse (Cleveland, TN) Classification Non-exempt Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range TBD•(Based on Experience) Reports to

Warehouse Supervisor Shift :

Monday•Friday (7:30am•4:00pm ) The warehouse lead position will be responsible for, but not limited to, functions pertaining to shipping, receiving, storing, loading and distributing materials and products. The activities of this assignment are oriented to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Advises and trains employees by assisting Management in developing and supporting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Standard Work (SW). Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures. Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Issues written and oral instructions. Schedules work for department. Load and unload materials into trucks with a lift truck. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness and neatness. Responsible for assisting Management to ensure that appropriate training is implemented and policies are followed at the facility. Maintain files on employees in their department. Develop and maintain a productive work team through cross training, sound communication and motivational techniques. Performs the work of an hourly employee on and/or off a lift truck. Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards, and safety requirements as directed by Management, Human Resources, OSHA, and the customer’s codes and regulations. Audits receipts performed by associates. Assists in effectively managing space on the flow to ensure adequate space is available for incoming and outgoing product. Ensures that traffic on the floor is directed in a smooth and safe process for a productive work flow. Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Management or Supervision. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One-year Forklift experience. Basic skills in Microsoft (Word, Outlook, Excel) preferred Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must pass background check and drug test. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work constructively under stress and pressure. Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment. Ability to communicate and interact with all levels within the organization. Ability to make sound and timely decisions.
