JOB SUMMARY

Interacts with partners(client partner and common carrier representatives) to ensuresuperior levels of customer service Maintains a safe workenvironment at all times through management of others Supervisesthe day-to-day operation of assigned work groups to ensure that allpartner and Capstone Logistics’ requirements are met andimplemented effectively Assigns tasks to associates in a fair andequitable manner Handling of freight as required, meeting companystandards and timelines while maintaining a safe work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

1-2 years of supervisory / leadership experience inan industrial setting Proven experience in providing high levels ofcustomer service to internal and external partners. Ability totrain, coach, and mentor warehouse associates Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Strongorganization and prioritizing skills Ability to simultaneouslyperform multiple tasks Ability to solve problems and make effectivedecisions in a fast-paced environment Intermediate PC skills withknowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

PRINCIPALACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensure partner needs are met on a daily basisDocument and resolve any customer service or associate issues dailyand report them to the Regional Director or Director asrequested/needed. Ensure all associates follow Capstone Logisticspolicies and work rules including Capstone safety work rules Holdweekly safety meetings and ensure associate participationScheduling associate shifts based on partner requirements Assistwith the interviewing, orientation and training of new associatesDock level negotiation of rates with common carrier representativesSupervise timely and accurate data entry for all services performedComply with all administrative reporting and financial policies andprocedures Ability to complete daily closeout, including cashbalancing, data upload, and payroll record administration accordingto Capstone Logistics policies and standard operating procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing and /or walking for extendedperiods of time in warehouse environment (concrete flooring andchanging temperatures) Ability to lift 50 lbs. Computer data entry.

Ability to function in cold and hot weather environment. Ability tobe certified to operate manual or powered material handlingequipment in a safe and productive manner EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College ortechnical school or two or more years related experience and/ortraining; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
