Shipping Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our team on a direct hire basis. In this role, you will oversee a team working across multiple shifts, ensuring the efficient coordination and management of all parts and materials shipments. Your expertise in domestic and international shipping will be crucial, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with large ERP systems. Responsibilities Supervise a team of shipping and receiving personnel across multiple shifts. Coordinate and manage the shipping and receiving of all parts and materials. Set up shipments with customers, ensuring compliance with logistics and freight requirements. Maintain inventory control and warehouse inventory management. Ensure accurate data entry and inventory management. Essential Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in domestic and international shipping. Prior experience as a shipping supervisor. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. Accurate data entry skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving supervision. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role operates in a non-temperature controlled plant production environment. Safety procedures must be followed on the shop floor. The company is in a growth mode, with opportunities for overtime paid at 1.5 times the rate for hours over 40, and occasional weekend work as needed.
