Warehouse Supervisor RevHD 315 Tech Park Dr, La Vergne, TN 37086

Warehouse Supervisor Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of RevHD’s warehouse operations including fulfillment and shipping. In this role, you will coordinate, guide, train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on warehouse experience and leadership skills, particularly in the fast-paced e-commerce sector, and extensive use of shipping platforms.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, picking, assembling, packing, and shipping. Lead, train, and mentor warehouse associates and staff to achieve productivity and quality targets. Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficient operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving team-related issues and escalating concerns to leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment Oversee picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery. Conduct quality checks on outbound orders to minimize errors and returns. Prioritize workload based on order deadlines and business demands, including directing needs to the packaging area as needed. Oversee and train warehouse employees in parcel and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping utilizing software to pick, pack, validate and ship. Inventory Management Oversee inventory control activities, including stock counts and restocking. Ensure inventory is accurately tracked and updated in the warehouse management system (WMS). Report stock discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate teams for resolution. Inventory management of Component Parts for Work in Process goods, which includes issuing purchase orders for said parts. Shipping Coordination Utilize and optimize shipping platform software and train staff in its use. Collaborate with shipping carriers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Monitor shipping supplies (boxes, labels, etc.) and coordinate replenishment when needed. Ensure packaging meets quality standards to prevent damage during transit. Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in daily operations and recommend improvements to workflows. Maintain and improve the packaging processes. Support the implementation of new procedures or technologies to optimize warehouse processes and apply this to shipping platform software being utilized. Health and Safety Compliance Promote and enforce safety guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment. Conduct regular safety checks and ensure equipment is in proper working order. Lead by example to foster a culture of accountability and compliance. Maintain the regular maintenance schedule of all equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrated leadership skills, including experience in supervising or coordinating teams. Strong understanding of order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping processes. Knowledgeable in shipping platform software like ShipStation, Ship Hero or SOS Inventory or other closely related software. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other related systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to train staff competently.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required or associate’s degree in a related field preferred. At least 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in e-commerce or automotive industries. At least 1-2 years of supervisory, management or leadership experience. Must have direct experience with parcel and less-than-truckload (LTL) fulfillment and related shipping software – ShipStation, Ship Hero, Extensive, SOS Inventory, Shipedge, Zoho Inventory or SKU Labs. Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment preferred.
