Manager, Fulfillment Services Purpose The Supervisor, Fulfillment Services manages drug distribution and related activities for a variety of patients and customers enrolled at PANTHERx™ Rare Pharmacy and PANTHER Distribution. This role leads a team of in-house pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, warehouse associates, and inventory coordinators performing fulfillment services in a closed-door distribution center. The Supervisor ensures timely reporting and distribution of information to the team and collaborates with other internal stakeholders and teams on developing or revising procedures affecting Fulfillment. Maintaining departmental and organizational standards and measures, the role is responsible for planning and implementing workflows to prioritize competing and interdependent tasks to meet deadlines and manage time effectively. Responsibilities Leads in the development and execution of quality and production standards in the fulfillment area. Leads pharmacy staff to ensure effective and efficient dispensing of medications. Monitors workflow and distributes daily responsibilities to ensure all prescriptions are processed and dispensed correctly and timely, ensuring that any modifications needed are undertaken. Evaluates daily quality assurance metrics and reports and adjusts workloads as necessary. Creates and conducts staff training for new processes/process changes. Participates in regular meetings with leadership to discuss staff needs and accomplishments. Conducts regular team meetings. Creates and maintains competency checks for team members. Develops measurable and attainable yearly goals for fulfillment team. Communicates with Inventory team about sufficient inventory quantities regarding medication delivery. Fulfills prescriptions including, but not limited to product receipt, lot tracking, and shipper coordination. Maintains staff coverage by interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Provides oversight to day-to-day operations of the team. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Empowers employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals; delegates responsibility expecting accountability and regular feedback. Maintains continuity among work teams by consistent enforcement of policies, documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, continuing needs, and process improvement. Leads with integrity by taking accountability to meet deadlines. Communicates and implements all approved changes. Observes and complies with all policies and procedures. Ensures self & direct reports complete mandatory training requirements. Maintains and assists with the coordination PIC licensure for non-resident pharmacy licenses as requested by leadership Assists in the receipt and control of products for wholesale services. Responsible for the recall process for pharmacy and wholesale services. Responsible for training of fulfillment team of wholesale process. Additional projects and activities as assigned. Required Qualifications 3 years as a practicing, licensed pharmacist in a specialty pharmacy. 2 years of experience as a team leader or holding leadership roles within a team. Doctor of Pharmacy or Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution. Active and unrestricted Pharmacist licensure for the state of Tennessee. Possess strong leadership skills and be interested in growth and development. Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
