The Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for leading activities of the warehouse team assigned to receiving functions, ensuring tasks are performed in an effective manner. The Supervisor will monitor various work processes and environmental conditions to ensure the safety of all employees. The Receiving Supervisor will work 4:00am – 12:30pm, Monday – Friday (hours can vary depending on workload and business needs). At Bunzl, we know that our employees are our number one asset. Responsibilities:

Ability to supervise a crew doing multiple functions in multiple areas of the warehouse, such as ensuring accuracy of delivered orders Supervise all receiving functions Communicate with all levels of management, as well as our customers via email or phone conversations in a clear and professional manner Direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (i.e. operational, safety, administrative, etc.) Follow all ISO procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred 3-5 years’ experience working in shipping and receiving departments; previous supervisory experience preferred Experience in

ISO 9001

2008/2015 a plus Ability to properly fill out Bill of Lading is required Ability to work well with others Familiar with warehouse management systems Good verbal and written communication skills Exercise good judgment and react quickly in emergency situations Detail-oriented Supervise staff and delegate tasks Must be able to work 8 hours to 12 hours a day, standing on a concrete surface So, what are you waiting for?
