Team Lead Position Available In Sumner, Tennessee

Description:

Perform all duties of a Warehouse Associate and Material Handler. Assist Warehouse Associates in prioritizing tasks. Assign Warehouse Associates to areas based on warehouse demands. Support the interviewing, hiring, and training of employees. Aid in disciplining employees. Utilize KPIs and other metrics to drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization. Address employee complaints and resolve issues. Collaborate with Customer Service on various issues and special projects. Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in managing personnel matters, including time off requests and timecard approvals. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all work functions to serve as a backup to the department Supervisor. Coordinate with Human Resources for staffing needs. Conduct weekly forklift inspections. Ensure accurate inventory counts. Ensure all equipment and tools are in proper working order. Assist in generating productivity reports. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Adhere to all safety rules. Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required. 1+ years of warehouse operations experience preferred. RF handheld experience required. Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
