Warehouse / Purchasing Clerk – EMC 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Foley, AL 36535 Warehouse Purchasing Clerk We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Purchasing Clerk to support our purchasing and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in or managing an inventory system, possess a valid driver’s license in good standing, and preferably hold an associate degree. Shift is Monday to Friday 10:30am to 7:00pm with ability to work 4-5 hours overtime as week, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and track purchase orders for warehouse supplies and materials Maintain and update inventory systems to ensure accurate stock levels Coordinate deliveries or picks up parts from suppliers Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules Ensure documentation and records are up to date and compliant with company policies Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing inventory while monitoring security system daily Performs additional duties as requested
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience working with or managing an inventory control system Valid driver’s license with a good standing record with the Department of Motor Vehicles Associate degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred Proficiency in inventory software, spreadsheets, and basic office systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50lbs with or without assistance and climb ladders.
