Our client is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team in the Shipping Department. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth flow of goods and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities of the Material Handler Coordinate and oversee the daily shipping operations to ensure timely dispatch of goods. Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices. Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments and track deliveries. Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and inventory levels. Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition. Implement and adhere to safety and compliance regulations within the shipping area. Assist in resolving any shipping-related issues or discrepancies. Requirements of the Material Handler Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in using shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to lift and move packages up to a certain weight limit. At least 1 year of Forklift or CherryPicker Experience. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
