Warehouse Associate 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 103 S Atlanta Ave, Sheffield, AL 35660 Job Description Warehouse Associates Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments organize outbound shipments in the warehouse for pickup; ensure correct labeling on outgoing product. Prepare documents, such as, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials Operate material handling equipment like pallet jack. Notify appropriate personnel of quality issues. Maintain clean shipping/receiving areas including docks and inventory organization. Participate in inventory counting. Pull and pack orders for shipment. Check items off packing list to ensure shipments are correct by matching item numbers, descriptions, and color codes. Load and unload shipments from truck. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Ability to multi-task and have exceptional organizational skills. Prior work experience in shipping/receiving environment preferred but not required. Must have attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible scheduling including overtime and weekends when required during peak season. Must be able to lift twenty five pounds. Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, stand, reach, and crouch for long periods of time.
