At Brian’s Flooring and Design, we believe our people are our greatest asset. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming flooring shipments for accuracy and damage. Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently. Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with shipping and receiving documentation. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Load and unload flooring products for receiving, deliveries and customer pickups. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring materials are properly labeled and stored. Prepare flooring orders for installation crews. Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations. Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits. Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse or flooring experience. Ability to lift 50+lbs.. Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures. Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain). Strong organizational skills. Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with email and Microsoft Outlook. Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
