Starting pay rate : $13.50-$14

Shifts:

First shift 6am-6:30am start time (must be flexible with the start time, working 10 hour shifts) Second shift 4pm-4:30pm start time (must be flexible with the start time, working 10 hour shifts)

Job Description:

The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products within the manufacturing facility. This role requires the ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. coils while ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Safely transport and handle raw materials, including steel coils and other components, throughout the production facility. Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand. Supply production lines with the necessary materials to ensure continuous manufacturing operations. Properly store and stack materials to maintain organization and prevent damage. Verify incoming shipments against documentation for accuracy and report any discrepancies. Assist in inventory management by conducting cycle counts and maintaining accurate records. Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to support a safe working environment. Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth work flow. Operate material handling equipment as required (forklifts, hoists, etc.), following safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in material handling or a manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly Ability to read a basic ruler/tape measure Basic math knowledge (adding, subtracting, basic multiplication) Must fluently speak/understand English Basic knowledge of warehouse and inventory procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies

Work Environment:

Manufacturing plant setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and temperature variations. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
