Material Handler 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 1195 County Road 177, Cusseta, AL 36852 Stages daily shipments to support customer requirements. Responsible for putting finished goods in their appropriate areas and maintains a proper FIFO order in finished goods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
. Stages shipments daily to current customer requirements. Required to maintain FIFO for finished goods in support of customer requirements. Responsible for putting finished goods in their appropriate areas and maintains a proper FIFO order in finished goods. Responsible for stacking, staging, drying and retrieving dunnage for the production lines. Will provide support for maintenance, 5S, engineering, sorts and other tasks outside the work cell. Be able to operate pallet wrapper. Knowledge of bar code scanning in support of scan to ship. Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Perform other related duties as assigned.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE
Industrial truck license. Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures. Knowledge of use of hand pallet jack, wrapping machine, scale, printer, and computer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Factory environment with noise from manufacturing environment. Exposure to moving equipment, parts and electrical shock. Possible serious injury due to carelessness around equipment. Often lifts, carries, or moves objects – up to 50 pounds. Sometimes lifts, carries or moves objects – weighing more than 50 pounds.
