Duties Include:
- Assemble detailed kits by following work instructions and part lists accurately.
- Label, organize, and package components for internal use or delivery.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and completeness of kits before distribution.
- Transport materials and completed kits between company locations using a company or personal vehicle.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient kitting workspace.
- Assist with basic inventory control tasks such as counting, restocking, and updating records.
- Communicate any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials to the supervisor.
- Use basic computer tools to access kit documentation, print labels, or log kit status.
- Handle mechanical or electrical components with care and understanding.
- Support production teams with additional duties as needed, including general shop or warehouse tasks.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written instructions and part lists. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Reliable transportation (if using a personal vehicle for errands). Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and move materials as needed. Basic computer skills (e.g., checking spreadsheets, printing labels). Familiarity with mechanical or electrical parts is a plus .
Preferred Skills:
Ability to comprehend and interpret blueprints to kit items from a BOM is preferred but not required Prior experience in kitting, inventory, warehouse, or production support is preferred but not required . Work Environment
- Office, lab, and field, environments.

- Normal workday is from 7:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday.
- Support will be provided as needed during this time frame, but small efforts may be required at any time to support operations. Other Essential Functions
