Material Coordinator About the Role We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Central Loading Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping the Central Loading area operating efficiently by ensuring materials are stocked, equipment is clean, and procedures are followed accurately. Key Responsibilities Maintain a consistent flow of materials to Central Loading equipment Keep floor areas clean and free from plastic pellet spills; dispose of garbage daily Support grinding operations and perform minor repairs on hoses and wands Perform assigned preventative maintenance (filters, dryers, etc.) Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) material usage Inspect all returned materials for contamination before re-entering inventory Ensure materials are available to support the daily production schedule Assist with mold changes and support other Material Handlers as needed Operate forklifts safely; complete daily inspection checklists Prevent product damage or deterioration during handling and storage Break down gaylords and transport recyclable materials to designated areas Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures Perform additional duties as assigned by the Material Coordinator or Management Qualifications Minimum 2 years of material handling experience Secondary school diploma Valid lift truck safety certification Skills & Knowledge Strong organizational and communication skills Familiarity with workplace safety and environmental guidelines Knowledge of forms, labels, and tags used in material handling Understanding of Quality and Environmental Management Systems Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Why Join Us?
