This position involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be comfortable operating various types of vehicles, including commercial vehicles, for deliveries and transportation within our service area. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial vehicles, paratransit, and tow trucks as needed. Perform route driving to deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner. Assist with loading and unloading goods in the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and storage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transport. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Manage inventory within the warehouse, including organizing stock and performing regular counts. Operate manual transmission vehicles when required for specific deliveries or tasks. Support moving operations as needed, ensuring items are handled with care. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is preferred.
MUST BE OVER 21 YEARS OLD.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes. Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is a plus. Ability to operate yard jockey equipment if required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor as needed in the warehouse setting. Previous experience with moving services is advantageous but not mandatory.
