Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate (Temp-may have long term op)

Mobile, AL Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30
PM Pay:
$15.00 $18.00 per hour
DOE Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate for a full-time, dual-role position at a well-established wholesale supply house. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential and a comprehensive benefits package once hired permanently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the sales counter with product inquiries and order processing
- Accurately pull, pack, and stage orders for customer pickup or delivery
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a counter sales and/or warehouse role
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC products
- Proven sales experience and strong customer service and communication skills
- Forklift experience is a plus (will train the right person)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (educational certifications a plus) Benefits (Upon Hire):
