Job Summary:
- The Warehouse Worker / General Laborer plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the trucking terminal. This position is responsible for loading and unloading freight, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks using manual labor or equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Sort, stage, and organize freight according to delivery or storage requirements
- Assist with inventory control by labeling, scanning, and tracking shipments
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by sweeping, removing debris, and disposing of trash
- Ensure proper handling of fragile or hazardous materials according to safety protocols
- Help secure cargo with straps, load bars, or shrink wrap when needed
- Assist drivers with check-ins and outbound documentation, if required
- Follow instructions from supervisors and operate in compliance with company policies
- Perform general labor duties such as lifting, stacking, moving materials, and light maintenance
- Report damaged goods, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly

Requirements:
- Must have a clean-shaven face
- (to comply with safety or PPE requirements, if applicable)
- Background check required.
- Drug screen required prior to employment.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
- Forklift experience is a plus (certification may be required based on position)
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills are essential.
