• Job Summary:

• The Warehouse Worker / General Laborer plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the trucking terminal. This position is responsible for loading and unloading freight, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks using manual labor or equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Sort, stage, and organize freight according to delivery or storage requirements
• Assist with inventory control by labeling, scanning, and tracking shipments
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by sweeping, removing debris, and disposing of trash
• Ensure proper handling of fragile or hazardous materials according to safety protocols
• Help secure cargo with straps, load bars, or shrink wrap when needed
• Assist drivers with check-ins and outbound documentation, if required
• Follow instructions from supervisors and operate in compliance with company policies
• Perform general labor duties such as lifting, stacking, moving materials, and light maintenance
• Report damaged goods, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly

Requirements:

• Must have a clean-shaven face
• (to comply with safety or PPE requirements, if applicable)
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required prior to employment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
• Forklift experience is a plus (certification may be required based on position)
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills are essential.
