In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of warehouse management systems. This position is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting order fulfillment processes. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment, including cranes, to move materials safely within the warehouse. Manage inventory stock levels and assist in the organization of warehouse space. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 software to track inventory and orders. Perform picking and packing duties to prepare orders for shipment accurately. Fabricate packaging materials as needed to ensure products are secured for transport. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs. Use RF scanners to manage inventory movement and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse management or a similar role is preferred. Proficient in operating heavy equipment, including cranes. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 software is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage stock effectively. Experience with order fulfillment processes, including picking and packing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
