ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Handling of inbound and/or outbound freight shipments. This shall include verification of quantities and items from packing slips, purchase orders, transfer tickets, and/or pick tickets. Driver for deliveries and or pick-ups. Accountable for receiving incoming materials, inspecting order to verify compliance with relevant quality standards and accuracy of order. Stock shelves with inbound inventory, as necessary. Document and/or file freight claims with carriers as required. Perform order fulfillment and processing, including picking and packaging products, dealing with back orders, initiating/receiving transferred products, inventory adds/deducts, and adjustments. Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting cycle counts as Company policy dictates. Facilitate the seamless transfer of materials and products to and from storage and production areas, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations. Operate a variety of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, becoming a trusted expert in material transportation/driver. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace, adhering to industry standards and promoting optimal operational efficiency and safety. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as necessary, ensuring products are handled safely and reach their destination within set deadlines. Prepare stock for manufacturing including sawing bar stock, etc. Interfaces with clients and vendors in a manner that represents Company well. Detail-oriented.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Current Driver’s License with clean driving record.
