Material Handler 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Pell City, AL 35125 Positions include Forklift Drivers, Tugger Driver, Shipping, Receiving, and other Warehouse positions.
Position Overview :
Movement and storage of material at the lowest possible cost through the use of proper methods and equipment. Competences Ability to work under pressure, endurance and stress resistance Flexibility and adaptability Ability to work in a team Ability to communicate Sense of responsibility Reliable/liable Ability to manage and solve conflicts Analytical thinking Strategic Thinking Spatial sense/ability Main Roles and Responsibilities Maintaining/completing necessary documents for motorized vehicles (ie daily forklift checklist). Movement of material from warehouse to production via EPS systems. Deliver stock and supplies to production lines on time ensuring proper movements in SAP. (FIFO) Use of motorized vehicles following safety guidelines. Pull and stage product for outgoing shipments. Retain driver signed copies for our records. Load and unload freight carriers as required. Communicate with production lines to ensure no material shortages. Support quality, maintenance, prototype, EPS and office staff as needed. Ensure housekeeping/2S1Y standards are met on a daily basis. Actively participate in cycle count and physical inventories. Comply with all
ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISMS/27001
requirements. Participate in continuous improvements and safety initiatives. Ability to operate trucks with a capacity of at least 26,001 lbs per gross vehicle weight. Any other duties assigned by Supervision and/or Management Qualifications Proficient in the use of MS Office products, MRP systems, and scanners. Min. 1 year warehouse experience. Motivated and detail oriented.
