What You’ll Get to Do The Material Handler 1 is focused on inspecting, labeling, transporting, and packing glass, and reports to the Fabrication Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who is safety-conscious and detail-oriented with a focus on quality, and is adaptable with a strong team mindset. A vital member of the Fabrication Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

Safely lift, move, and load/unload glass (up to 75 lbs) Inspect glass for defects and measure for accuracy Operate and monitor equipment using computer systems Label, pack, and palletize finished products Follow work orders and safety procedures What We Are Looking For Basic computer and measurement skills (fractions/decimals) Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled environment Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team Willingness to cross-train in multiple role What OBE Offers You Benefits that benefit you
