What You’ll Get to Do
The Material Handler 1 is focused on working with metal extrusions, including moving them by hand from different stations in the process, pulling them from holding areas, and boxing them. The Material Handler 1 reports to the Production Supervisor for Powder Coating. This role is perfect for an individual who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment individually and with a team, has strong attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination, all while prioritizing safety. A vital member of the Powder Coating Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
Identify extrusions by style design and inspect for any blemishes or defects
Move extrusions to various work stations throughout powder coating process
Use an air hose to remove residue from extrusions that have been powder coated
Package metal extrusions to be shipped out
Lift and stack metal extrusions (24 feet in length)
