Warehouse Worker Ballard Concrete Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners and heavy machinery for efficient order picking and packing. Manage inventory levels by accurately tracking stock using warehouse management systems such as AS400. Load and unload shipments, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage. Fulfill orders by picking items from shelves, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies as needed. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with order picking, packing processes, and inventory management practices is advantageous. Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory; safety training will be provided. Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse technology is beneficial for efficiency in tasks.
