Overview
PepsiCo Beverages North America is seeking qualified Engineers to support capital projects across 250+ Warehouse and Distribution Centers throughout the US and Canada. This role is responsible for providing Automation, Controls, and Networking guidance including the managing and developing of scope, cost, and schedule for capital projects involving PBNA’s warehouse automation strategy. Additionally, the role will support the execution of projects that create efficiency, deliver capacity, and drive operational savings. Technologies include but are not limited to Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Variety pack robots, Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Automated Picking/Sortation systems, and Automated Truck Loading Systems.
Responsibilities
Supporting various project managers assist with developing capital requirements, establish scope of work for OEM’s and contractors, define development and commercialization schedules.
Manage FFN budget, schedule attainment and achievement of project performance metrics.
Lead cross-functional teams of colleagues and outside resources including vendors and consultants.
Balance multiple project deliverables and competing priorities.
Manage the vendor qualification, bidding and evaluations process.
Apply standards and engineering principles including modeling and simulation with external vendors and consultants.
Ability to support up to 15 active projects per year.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 – $149,000.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering
5+ years relevant experience
Established record of project definition and execution
Strong analytical, communication, & presentation skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization
Proven ability to multi-task
Demonstrated “Technical curiosity”
Innovative “out of the box” thinking skills to drive transformational change
Exposure to Whse/Distribution Center Operations is a plus
Exposure to manufacturing and material handling automation technologies is a plus
Knowledge of industrial networks, control systems, and data integration with ERP/MES systems
Must be able to travel 60% of the time
