This role combines warehouse duties with driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient delivery and handling of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, up to 26-feet in length, and vans for route driving to deliver products to customers. Load and unload goods from vehicles using pallet jacks and other equipment. Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Assist with warehouse duties, including organizing inventory and heavy lifting as needed. Assist with furniture installation and placement in client homes, as needed. Assist with delivery to various store locations. Skills A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Must be able to pass a background check. Experience with driving, including operating box trucks and vans. Proficient in route driving with a strong understanding of local roadways and laws. Ability to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks efficiently. Familiarity with using pallet jacks, furniture dollies, etc. for loading and unloading goods. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and coworkers. Experience driving larger delivery vehicles is a plus.
