Material Handler – Carpentry | Full-Time | Multiple Openings Epic Personnel Partners, LLC East Granby, CT 06026 Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support operations for a precision metal distribution client in East Granby, CT.

$20.00/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 8:00AM-5:00PM |

Full-Time Duties:

The Warehouse Associate role involves saw machine operation, light carpentry, shipping/receiving, and supporting general warehouse flow in a metal-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Manually load, unload, and move metal sheets, bars, and coils throughout the warehouse Operate forklift and pallet jack to transport heavy materials safely Use industrial saws and hand tools to cut metal stock to specified measurements Build and repair wooden crates and custom pallets for metal product shipments Wrap, band, and label outgoing orders for delivery or pickup Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records Keep warehouse floors, aisles, and workstations clean and hazard-free

Requirements:

Forklift experience is preferred. Experience with saw machines or metal cutting tools. Comfortable using basic hand and power tools. Carpentry or crate-building experience is a plus. Able to lift 50 lbs and stay active all day. Must wear jeans or work pants and steel-toe boots (boot reimbursement after hire).
