Position Description:
The Warehouse Worker will perform a variety of tasks related to the production of finished goods. This position will work closely with the Production Department and assist in the warehouse activities of the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments.
- Sort incoming shipments based on type, size, and quantity.
- Receive and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Label outgoing shipments and place in delivery area.
- Receive and prepare incoming shipments.
- Receive and unload incoming raw materials, component parts, or finished goods.
- Assist in the warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, processing, and distribution of incoming materials.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed.
- Assist in inventory control activities related to the receipt, warehousing, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Assist in cycle counting activities related to the receipt, warehousing, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Operate an air compressor as needed.
- Maintain warehouse areas, equipment, and tools in a clean and orderly condition.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
