The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center by handling various tasks related to inventory control, materials handling, and order fulfillment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Managing the inventory in the warehouse. Packaging beer in both kegs and on canning day. Cleaning kegs to be filled. Cleaning tanks to receive beer and processing final product. Receiving materials and orders. Efficiently pick and pack orders according to customer specifications. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse. Build and assemble pallets for shipping as needed. Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Perform regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels. Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products throughout the warehouse. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in brewery preferred but not required. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required. Familiarity with package handling, picking, packing, and inventory control processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to operate warehouse management systems or willingness to learn. A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
