Repair/General Handyman Job Description:

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for fixing things? We are looking for a dedicated General Handyman to join our team and ensure our containers are in top condition for re-rental. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with tools and materials and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities Clean and Maintain:

Wash and clean storage containers upon return to ensure they are spotless and ready for the next client.

Repair and Restore:

Perform touch-up painting, light carpentry, and minor repairs to fix any damages and keep containers in excellent condition.

Sign Management:

Remove and reinstall signs using hand and power tools, ensuring clear and accurate labeling.

General Repairs:

Conduct minor repairs, including repainting, bolt repairs, and cleaning interiors to maintain container integrity.

Update Signage:

Replace stickers or signage as necessary to keep containers up-to-date.

Essential Skills Tool Proficiency:

Experience with hand and power tools is a must.

Labor Experience:

General labor experience is essential.

Construction Knowledge:

Basic construction skills are required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Carpentry Skills:

Light carpentry skills are a plus.

Painting Expertise:

Experience in painting and paint preparation is beneficial.

Outdoor Work:

Hire:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $19.00/hr.
