This position will challenge you to meet customer specifications, top quality fabricated assemblies and production schedules while striving to improve working relationships. Manufacturing employees are required to read procedure sheets/job tickets/work instructions to determine work procedures, material requirements and related information. We are looking for a qualified carpenter to cut, fabricate, and assemble floating docks and other structures according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and have good knowledge of carpentry skills. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting products. Skills We are Looking For
- Previous manufacturing experience is a preferred, but not required.
- Measure and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
- Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, sanders, routers, saws, etc.
- Operate tools to trim, drill, ream, countersink, grind and finish the products to specifications
- Cut, shape and smooth plastic and other material according to measurements.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings. Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
Job Duties Requirments:
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Performs workspace housekeeping.
- Install decking on floating docks.
- Fabricate and assemble floating docks.
Position is on Day Shift and will include overtime. Hours are 7-3:30. Timeliness and professionalism are strictly enforced. We are a Drug-free Workplace.
