Our client has been in business for over 50 years and provides a safety mechanism that is used in the transportation industry throughout the world. The Material Handler ensures that the manufacturing/production area has all the components and supplies needed in order to operate efficiently.
DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supplying raw materials to production lines in a timely manner. Pick materials from the multiple warehouses per list of priorities provided by pick list. Deliver raw materials completed to the corresponding warehouse and/or staging area. Responsible for ordering, picking, and filling materials as needed Responsible for consolidating, loading/shipping, unloading/receiving, and putting away materials for sub-contractors and manufacturing supplies for vendors. Communicate with vendors and sub-contractors regarding receipt of the goods being delivered to them. Unload, check, and receive goods and supplies delivered to the manufacturing area by sub-contractors and vendors. Requirements Interested candidates must have at least 3 years experience working as a material handler Shipping/receiving materials, parts and/or products Loading/unloading Checking in merchandise and assisting with inventory Move merchandise/products to designated locations in the warehouse/locations Assist in the cleanliness of the warehouse.
