Warehouse Manager Job Summary:

Loads, Unloads delivery trucks, pulls inventory materials daily for work scheduled. Key Responsibilities Work in conjunction with warehouse manager to stock and maintain warehouse inventory Pull orders accurately for installers, service technicians and inventory transfers Assist in loading trucks with materials needed to complete the daily schedule Communicate with schedulers/dispatchers when questions/problems arise regarding orders Unload product deliveries to the warehouse Coordinate product delivery schedule with delivering truck drivers Make appropriate adjustments to product as needed i.e. add vents or glass panes to door Be able to calculate and make springs for garage doors may require use of welder & cutting torch Operate forklift, pallet jack and trucks Responsible for quality control of incoming and outgoing products Prepare/pull products for OTC customers Clean & maintain a safe work area Additional Responsibilities Transport product to other locations as needed – i.e. jobsites, satellite offices Assist with maintaining vehicle fleet and warehouse equipment Perform general building maintenance as needed Knowledge and Skill Requirements Basic reading, writing and arithmetic stills required. This is normally acquired through a high school Diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must possess or have the ability to obtain OSHA forklift certification. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery. Ability to bend, squat, lift and work on your feet daily in repeated fashion. Must have ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. with use of forklift or pallet jacks. Working Conditions Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 80 lbs. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hard hats. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted.
