Job Description
As directed, the Warehouse Specialists shall perform a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan. Work involves most of the following: + Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages + Routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials + Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage + Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment + Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. + Use the Government provided databases including MRPII (Manufacturing Resources Planning (Version 2)), ATICTS (Automated Tool Inventory Control Tracking System), MAXIMO, ASKARS (Automated Storage Kitting and Retrieval System), EXCEL and ACCESS to maintain accurate inventory tracking of all components, materials and kits currently in the maintenance process within the FRCSE + For tracking inventory at warehouses not onboard NAS JAX, the employee shall utilize the existing Excel inventory tracking system provided by FRCSE. + Maintain the tracking system to identify the exact physical location of all parts, components, material and kits within each warehouse. Each time a component or kit is moved within the warehouse, the employee shall document the action appropriately in the Government provided databases
Required Experience, Training & Certifications:
+ Must have 4K/6K Forklift experience + Must be comfortable in the use of Microsoft Office applications, a mature and respectful demeanor and a professional appearance are a must. + Any candidate that has past ATICS and MAXIMO data system experience is a plus. + History of working in a well-structured industrial environment, a working knowledge of lean six sigma and
ISO 9000
principles is desirable.
