JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate position reports to the Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for picking and pulling orders, staging pallets, loading and unloading from trucks, wrapping pallets, material handling, and warehouse or production support services along with general recordkeeping duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Selecting orders for shipment
- Wrapping pallets
- Material handling with production support services
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Driving forklift
- Ensuring accuracy and quality of inbound/outbound shipments
- Coordinating activities with production and purchasing
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Accountability- proactively handle assigned duties and take ownership for outcomes and needed follow up.
- Operate with a sense of urgency, completing tasks and making decisions efficiently and effectively.
- Proactive- look for areas where contributions may be needed, anticipate need outside of assigned tasks

QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
2 years in a manufacturing environment, food and quality experience preferred.
- Computer based warehouse management system
- Operating within a quality system (SQF, ISO, etc)
- Self-directed
Certifications/Licenses:
Certified Forklift Operator
