Spherion Staffing of Lake and Sumter County has openings for General Laborers for a Production Line located in Tavares. These are temp-to-hire positions. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm/5:00 pm with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Schedules vary based on production needs and may include Friday or Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload propane tanks onto the production line according to established procedures.
• Ensure proper labeling and identification of tanks for efficient workflow.
• Assist in the packaging and shipment of propane tanks as needed.
• Verifying dates adn codes of tanks for usage.

Working hours:

5:00 AM

• 5:00

PM Skills:

• Familiarity with basic machinery operations and the ability to operate pallet jacks safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in loading and unloading duties within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and write English to understand work instructions, safety guidelines, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time, as well as lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs repetitively.
