Position Summary:
Counter/Warehouse We are seeking a motivated and reliable Counter/Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting both warehouse operations and front-counter. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a forklift, managing inventory, and assisting customers with product inquiries related to insulation materials. Good phone skills are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming insulation products and materials. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Perform regular inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock records.
Counter Sales Duties:
Assist walk-in customers with product selection, order placement, and inquiries. Provide product knowledge and guidance on insulation materials and tools. Coordinate with the sales team to fulfill special customer requests. Look up parts and operate the computer with company software.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of warehouse or counter sales experience, preferably in building materials or insulation. Valid forklift certification and hands-on experience operating forklifts. Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor. Basic computer skills and good typing skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in both indoor counter area and warehouse environment. May require occasional overtime or early/late hours based on operational needs.
