Warehouse Associate Florida Window & Door Fort Myers, FL 33912 Join the dynamic team at Florida Window & Door, a leading provider of high-quality impact windows and doors in Florida. We are dedicated to excellence in home improvement and are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse. You will assist with unloading deliveries, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving incoming merchandise and verifying that they are undamaged and of sound quality Counting received items Assisting install and service staff in retrieving specified merchandise from storage as per the work order Preparing merchandise for delivery or shipping by packaging and labeling them accordingly Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise Organizing warehouse merchandise and stacking them on shelves, bays and racks in accordance with company guidelines Performing all duties necessary to maintain facility cleanliness, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed Parts ordering Assisting in service projects as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements Maintain regular attendance Proficient in OSHA standards Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of company staff Detail-oriented in tracking inventory accuracy and coordinating orders and shipping Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to problem-solve and prioritize Ability to lift 70 lbs. independently • Basic computer competency is required A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in warehousing and logistics preferred.
