Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver Furniture Direct Fort Walton Beach Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to join our growing Furniture Store. In this dual role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing inventory as well as delivering goods to customers homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in both warehouse tasks and must have a clean driving record, associates will be responsible with the off loading of delivered product from vendors, loading the truck for delivery, and delivering the products efficiently and safely as well as assisting the store sales with needed product for display. Duties Load and unload products from delivery vehicles. Safely operate delivery vehicles, including a boxtruck, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory management within the warehouse. Organize and manage warehouse space for optimal efficiency. Assist in picking, preparing and loading orders for shipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of goods. Skills Proficient in heavy lifting and capable of handling physically demanding tasks. Experience driving large Box Truck vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics. Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
