BUILD & REPAIR/ Warehouse Associate Position Available In Orange, Florida

BUILD & REPAIR/ Warehouse Associate 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 2500 Principal Row, Orlando, FL 32837 As a Build & Repair/Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for loading and unloading storage containers and helping to inventory and maintain containers. You will be responsible for building, breaking down, and repairing new, used, and damaged containers.

Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision) Ensure Quality Standards are met Move materials using hand cart and or pallet jack Pressure washing Shop clean-up Perform all cutting operations utilizing all standard shop equipment Fabricate from a drawing and/or verbal instructions with limited supervision Safely rig materials for lifting Adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner including adherence to OSHA regulations May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Competencies/Skills Good organizational and time management skills Must be enthusiastic and Energetic Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. Completion of background investigation and drug screening. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment Strong people skills. Must be a team player Good moral character. Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance. Available to work extended hours. Must be dependable Ability to read and understand English is required for OSHA safety regulations Deliver quality results Act with integrity Strong written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrate sound judgement • Effective problem-solving skills Able to project a positive, professional image with both internal and external business contacts Specialized knowledge and/or licenses: Current forklift license Work environment: Shift start times may vary; some additional hours may be required including Saturdays/Sundays; required to work overtime as needed. Warehouse and/or repair center locations may not be climate controlled except for specific areas. May be expected to work during inclement weather conditions.

Physical demands:

Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 75 lbs. Ability to walk, drive and stand for extended periods of time during assigned shift Ability to climb, kneel, crouch or crawl Ability to climb a ladder Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment Ability to reach and work above head level
