We are seeking an energetic, detail oriented and organized person who takes pride in their work. Do you have cabinet shop/construction skills or want to continue to improve your cabinet shop/construction skills? Kitchen Saver® has been providing quality service to customers for over 25 years in kitchen cabinet renewal. Due to continual growth, we are looking for an energetic person to build add-on cabinets and do some light warehouse work to join our team. Training provided. This is a full time hourly position Hours are 6am to 2:30p Hourly pay per hour depending on experience Responsibilities include: Receiving and issuing of materials, data entry and other warehouse duties. Basic computer skills are required. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Candidate must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background/pre-employment screening. Candidate must be of at least 21 years of age in order to meet insurance requirements. Forklift experience required.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is the accurate accounting of all material received and all materials used in the daily operation of the branch, reporting any discrepancies, and insuring the warehouse is secure, clean and organized .
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Pre-assembles orders and prepares material for installations, Records material usage from Job Worksheets and Van Inventory Report Daily, Receives, unpacks, and inspects materials and supplies for damages and defects, Reports damages and discrepancies to purchasing agent, fills out proper paperwork for return authorization and reimbursement, Completes shipping and receiving entries into warehouse application daily, Responsible for keeping materials secure at all times, Maintains a secure, clean and organized warehouse at all times, Practices and enforces compliance to Corporate safety policies and OSHA regulations, Perform other job-related duties as assigned to meet business needs.
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.
ABILITIES AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the warehouse setting and construction industry Must have basic knowledge of computers and software applications Must be proficient in reading & writing using the English language Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to perform repetitive bending, turning, twisting, kneeling and reaching motions, in addition to lifting some materials overhead Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Some light construction, remodeling, measuring experience is a plus
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid driver’s license. Must have and maintain current forklift operator certification.
